Which wet food variety do your pets devour with joy – and which one stays untouched in the bowl? NomScan remembers acceptance for every can, keeps your home pantry up to date via barcode scan, and shows you right in the store aisle what your furry friends actually love. Built with an uncompromising focus on privacy, zero ads, household collaboration, and an open scanning community.
No subscriptions, no paywalls, no annoying ad banners. Built with love by pet owners for pet owners.
No mandatory account and zero ad trackers. Works completely offline whenever you want – including local JSON backups.
Link phones via QR code: whoever feeds the pets or goes shopping keeps stock & ratings synced for the whole family.
Directly connected to Open Pet Food Facts – recognize thousands of cans instantly or contribute new varieties in one tap.
Keep track of your food cupboard effortlessly: a 4-stage retro can indicator (Green / Yellow / Red) shows what is well stocked and what is running low. Filter by All, Yum!, Huh? (unrated) or Yuck! and inspect the extended Product Datasheet with a single tap.
Three specialized scan modes with ergonomic one-handed controls (left/right-handed): Feeding (rate immediately or queue up to 10 meals as "Rate Later"), Purchase ⚡ (Quick-Scan) for checking cans in-store or restocking at home, plus Inventory ⚡.
No more guessing in front of the pet food aisle: select the store you are visiting and see every available brand ranked by its Yum Score – neatly split into Yum! vs. Yuck! and untried varieties to Try Next.
